About...

After leaving school, I spent a year visiting family in Australia in 1988/89.

On returning, I found myself involved in Commercial Property Sales and formed a life long business relationship with Julian Sparkes.

We established Belmonte Lettings in Broadstairs and through various small acquisitions, Bowmanor Property Services, JAB Property Management, Elaine's Lettings and Chesters, our brand grew in stature, going from strength to strength in Property Management.

With three offices in Broadstairs, Ramsgate & Westgate, supported by 25 excellent staff, in late 2015, there was an opportunity to expand our business horizons and we merged with East Kent's most successful Property Agent, Miles & Barr.

Joining forces with Stuart Barr & Simon Thompson, ex-Chatham House school friends and Christian Miles, a good friend, the merger took place on 1st January 2016. Offering new opportunities, as East Kent's most proactive and largest property agent, 2019 saw the merger of Pearson Gore Commercial & Lettings. 2020 & covid was a strange year for everyone and it saw me step away from the business, following a successful management buyout of Miles & Barr Property Group.

Being an advocate of professionalising the lettings industry, an opportunity to broaden my horizons appeared and I was pleased to become a trainer for David D'Orton Gibson at Training For Professionals, www.tfponline.co.uk

I am confident that providing a better, more informed service to the lettings customer, will reap the rewards for the industry I have enjoyed my whole business life.

• Founder Member of Broadstairs Business Club in 2016 and current Secretary.
• Supporter of Ramsgate FC Youth section after successfully merging our club Trinity Youth FC. Every week we now facilitate 650+ children playing in the East Kent Youth League and Kent League. Details at; www.Ramsgatefc.org.uk

At home, family life is with my wife Alison, an ex-school teacher, our son Oliver, who is enjoying life at Dad's old stomping ground, now Chatham & Clarendon Grammar School and daughter Rosie, doing things her own way at Dane Court Grammar School, both of them making us proud. With our weekends full of swimming commitments at Thanet Swim Club, competing nationally around the country, life is hectic and never dull, so the recent addition of our new motorhome means life is full of fun, whilst providing an amazing family experience!
